Job Overview
Rutledge Recruitment is currently looking to hire a Cook for our client based in Coleraine.
This position entails 25 – 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 13:00 PM. Some additional hour, weekend and bank holiday cover maybe available.
The rates of pay for this role are as follows:
- £12.70 per hour for Monday to Friday hours
- £19.05 per hour for Saturday hours
- £25.00 per hour for Sunday hours + bank holidays
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines
– Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner
– Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
– Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
– Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills
– Experience working as a cook in a kitchen or restaurant setting
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities
